*In Episodes 1–2, the protagonist is just being bullied by his father and his older and younger brothers, so if that’s not your thing, feel free to skip them! You can still enjoy this series starting from Episode 3. In Chapter 1—The City of Harumetta—the younger brother gets his comeuppance (around 80,000–100,000 characters). *The protagonist doesn’t realize his true power until Episode 9. Brief Synopsis Sou, the protagonist, is abused and exiled because he lacks a magic attribute. Swearing revenge on his family and vowing to establish a facility to save others in similar circumstances, he becomes an adventurer. Detailed Synopsis In this world, children awaken to magic at age 5, and their attributes manifest. His two older brothers acquired the Light and Shadow attributes, but the protagonist, Sou Dakvelm, possessed no magical attribute. From that day on, the abuse began. His father is a Dark attribute user who can materialize and dematerialize objects. Almost every day, Sou endured the “pain” his father inflicted, and under the pretense of serving as his brothers’ training partner, he was subjected to constant magical attacks. To make matters worse, on his 15th birthday, he was sentenced to exile. Banished from the Dakvelm family, Sou survived by living in the nearby Velm Forest. He staved off hunger with nuts and river water, making a hollow in the rocks his bed. One day, as he was warming his hands over the “fire” he’d finally managed to obtain, the flames suddenly went out. Sou was so shocked that he fell into a daze, but then an idea struck him. He stepped out of the hollow, placed his hand on the charred remains, and concentrated his mind. Suddenly, fire burst forth from Sou’s hand. “Hahaha, that’s awesome!” Realizing his talent, Sou resolved to take revenge on his family and build a facility to help people like himself. Meanwhile, Satiel, the lord of the forest, was in the depths of terror. Due to an unbelievable surge of magical power, the forest’s barrier shattered with a *crack!*. It was a barrier created with such power that it had once left his archrival, Margrave Darvendy, bedridden for a year. Yet it was destroyed in an instant. Satiel attempted to move to a place where he might hide, but on the way, he encountered “The possessor of monstrous magical power”—in other words, Sou. Though Satiel had been feared as one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Hell, he begged for his life within seconds. From then on, he swore to become Sou’s familiar. Having thus acquired the strongest familiar, Sou set his sights on “Harumetta Town,” located beyond the forest, to achieve his goal. After resolving a certain incident there, Sou was hailed as the hero of Halmetta and became an adventurer. While exacting his revenge on his family, he made great strides and made a name for himself. This is the story of how Sou—who was exiled after suffering abuse—came to be known as the “Grand Magician of the Void of All Things” and rose to become a hero.
