Synopsis

Rain Rod, who was providing support with the skill 【Super Intimidation】 as part of the A-Rank party 【Divine Halo】. One day, following Leader Ven’s orders, the members of “Divine Halo” ventured into the SSS-difficulty dungeon “Dark Ruined Castle.” Thanks to Rain’s skill, they reached the deepest level without encountering a single monster and obtained Caladbolg—the sacred sword of exorcism said to have once vanquished the Demon King. However, the moment they obtained Caladbolg, Ven’s attitude changed completely. “You’re worthless because your level is too low.” “I only used your skill to get Caladbolg easily.” He hurled one insult after another at her. To make matters worse, even fellow party members Gran and Sora began mocking Rain. “I’ll banish you from [Divine Halo].” Having devoted himself to the group only to be unjustly expelled, Rain gives up on his activities in the capital and begins living as a solo adventurer in the neighboring magical city of Katsushia. Her first solo adventure. She planned to defeat monsters, find treasure chests, and secure some funds to get by for a while. With that lighthearted mindset, Rain attacked a slime—but for some reason, the slimes began spawning endlessly. No matter how many she defeated, their numbers never decreased. Eventually, Rain realized the cause lay in her own skill: if she flinched, the slimes would call for reinforcements. Taking advantage of this slime behavior, Rain levels up in the blink of an eye and single-handedly defeats the Demon King. After that, as he continues his adventures, for some reason—not just the Demon King, but the receptionist, a goddess, students from the Magic Academy, a beastwoman girl, and other beautiful girls—all join his party, and before he knows it, Rain has built a harem party. Meanwhile, Ven and the others, deprived of Rain’s skill, were forced into a series of battles against monsters and eventually self-destructed from exhaustion. Their group was completely destroyed by Rain’s hand.
